Activity 3 - Date: 01.12.2025 Day: MONDAY Event Name: Protect Yourself Content: Category VI-VIII (Awareness and Action Club) Description: Awareness and Action Club members initiated the content through awareness video and Our respected Academic Coordinator guided the students with the “On Guard” awareness approach. This approach helps children understand how to stay safe and protect their bodies. A good touch is a touch that makes a child feel comfortable, safe, and loved. Examples include a parent’s hug, a high-five from a friend, or a teacher helping when a child is hurt. These touches help build trust and care. A bad touch is a touch that makes a child feel scared, uncomfortable, confused, or embarrassed. It can be any touch to private parts or any touch that a child does not like. Children must know that their body belongs to them and no one should touch them without permission. They have the right to say “NO!” loudly, move away, and immediately tell a trusted adult like a parent, teacher or guardian. Teaching good and bad touch awareness encourages children to speak up, stay alert, and stay safe. It builds confidence and helps prevent abuse by making sure children understand personal boundaries and know whom to approach for help.
