As a part of academics, Class VIII children, went to field visit for Paiyur Rice Research Institute. Children enriched their knowledge by learning seed germination, portray nursery, cut propagation, crafting cultivation, root treatment, seed treatment,etc., They amazed by knowing the different types of mango and rice varieties produced in Paiyur. The children came to know that the research methods followed in agriculture and horticulture are being shared for the betterment of farmers and creating awareness through Radio and Television.
